The modern pony-car wars are heating up again, and Ford is looking to undercut its Detroit rivals in the price department.

The 2010 Mustang with a V6 engine starts at $21,845. ThatÂ’s a bit cheaper than the entry-level 2010 Chevy Camaro ($22,995) and the 2009 Dodge Challenger ($22,545). GM delays Camaro production start by a month:

General Motors is delaying the launch of the Chevrolet Camaro sports car by a month, without explaining why.

GM had scheduled the start of production of the redesigned 2010 model in Oshawa, Ontario, for Feb. 16. The date has been pushed back to March 16, Chevrolet spokesman Terry Rhadigan said on Friday.
