Coming Soon: 2010 MazdaSpeed 3

Mazda fans can get ready for a little more zoom-zoom. The brand has announced that the replacement for the popular MazdaSpeed 3 will appear at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show next month.

Ford Ranger gets rollover control for 2010:

The Ford Ranger pickup will roll into the 2010 model year this summer equipped with the automaker’s stability-control system that includes a rollover sensor.

The rollover sensor measures the truck’s angle of tilt and engages the antilock braking system to help prevent a rollover. Ford uses the technology, which it calls AdvanceTrac with RSC, throughout its vehicle lineup.

GM delays CTS coupe launch until summer 2010:

One of Cadillac’s most anticipated models is being delayed one year.

The 2010 CTS coupe had been scheduled to go into production this summer. Instead, the car will go into production during the summer of 2010.

Ford Unveils 2010 Shelby GT500 Mustang

Ford has officially unveiled the high-performance Shelby GT500 Mustang, which is set to debut at the Detroit Auto Show this month. “The new GT500 is the result of the partnership between Ford’s Special Vehicle Team and Shelby Automobiles, owned by legendary race car driver Carroll Shelby,” reports the Detroit News. “Both worked together to enhance the car’s performance and looks.”

Mazda’s best-selling vehicle worldwide, the Mazda3, gets a major makeover for 2010–a new engine and transmissions, reshaped sheetmetal and a revised interior, and a few surprises.
